Typoetry
This design was completed for the invitational poster show, Typo-Poetry: Despite Black and White in Sound, which asked invited designers to explore typography as a way to write poetry and/or express ideas related to sound. The exhibition was on view at the Oconee County Arts Foundations Hall Gallery in Watkinsville, GA from January 19 to February 16, 2018.
WEDDING POSTER
This gig poster was a gift for Katie & Russell who got married in a small ceremony in the backyard of a family home then had a a fun reception celebration afterwards at a popular music venue and bar in downtown Athens, GA. (They included their dog in the design of their graphic invitations so I went with it.)
Blues & BBQ Event Poster
This event was a fundraiser for the Oconee County Resource Council, which represents various non-profit services such as Summer Food for Kids and local youth mentoring programs in the county that adjoins Athens/Clarke, GA. It was another fun collaboration with my colleague Alex Murawski, who did the illustration.
Middle School IB Design Day
Local Athens middle school, Burney Harris Lyons, had recently gotten IB accreditation and was holding its first annual Design Day and this poster aimed to encourage student participation.
